Quick answers to what coaches ask before signing up.

Does it work with film shot on a phone?
Yes. Any camera or phone, any resolution from 480p up. Press-box angles work best (formations visible at the snap), but sideline phone film works too — the AI just reads what it can see. For best results: 720p or higher, stable camera (tripod is better than handheld), full court / full field visible.
What sports does ScoutIQ support?
Football and basketball are the most mature sports today. We also process baseball, softball, and soccer — quality is good on all of them and improving every week as the AI learns more game footage.
How long does it take to process a film?
About 20–40 minutes for a full game, depending on length and file size. You upload it once, the AI does the work in the background, and you get an email when reports are ready. No need to babysit it.
What if the AI gets a play wrong?
Two things help. First, every play has an Edit button — you can fix formation, players, outcome, or anything else in 5 seconds and the corrected play feeds into your tendency reports. Second, every play has confidence indicators and we flag anything the AI was unsure about so you know exactly where to spot-check. We also hide plays you tell us aren't real plays (warmups, intros, etc.).
Can I cancel?
Anytime. No long-term commitment, no cancellation fee. You can cancel from the Team page in one click — Stripe customer portal handles it. You keep access through the end of your billing period.
How is this different from Hudl?
Three differences. Cost: $99/month vs $400+/year. Setup: you upload film directly, no coordinator or tagging service required. Reports: AI auto-generates tendency, scouting, and game-plan reports in minutes — Hudl makes you (or a paid tagger) do this by hand.
Can parents follow their kid's film?
Yes — we offer a $15/month parent tier. Coaches get a shareable parent invite link from their team page. Parents enter their kid's jersey number, pay $15/mo via Stripe, and see every clip their kid is in plus full game streaming. Coaches get nothing extra to do — it's automatic.
What if my film has a lot of warmups or pre-game footage?
Two protections. First, you can trim the upload to start at tipoff/kickoff and end at the final whistle — saves you AI cost and processing time. Second, the AI is trained to recognize warmups, lineup intros, and timeouts as "not real plays" and skip them. If anything sneaks through, you can hide it with one click and it stops affecting your reports.
